Overview
Productlane is a customer support platform for engineering teams. This integration connects Productlane with Attio, so your support and revenue teams work from the same customer record. Support conversations that happen in Productlane show up for the matching person and company in Attio, and keep the contacts and companies you manage in Productlane present in Attio.
Support agents keep the full picture of each customer. Sales and success teams can see recent support activity alongside the account context they already track in Attio, without switching tools.
The connection is one-directional and only ever creates records: Productlane writes to Attio and never imports Attio records back, so your Attio data stays clean, and nothing your team curated gets overwritten. Companies are matched by domain and people by email address, so the same customer stays linked across both tools.
How it works
Authorizing the app runs a first sync that pushes your Productlane companies and contacts to Attio, and the connection then keeps Attio updated on an ongoing basis.
Company and contact sync (Productlane to Attio, create-only):
- Every Productlane company with a domain becomes a company in Attio, and every Productlane contact that belongs to a company becomes a person in Attio.
- New contacts and companies you add in Productlane sync to Attio as you create them.
- Attio records are never imported into Productlane, so your workspace stays free of unrelated CRM data.
Daily activity notes:
- Once a day, Productlane writes a single note to the matching person and company for each thread that received new messages.
- The note lists that day's messages and links back to the full conversation in Productlane.
- System messages, AI auto-replies, and delivery confirmations are filtered out, so the record stays readable.
Configure
Requirements:
- A Productlane workspace on the Pro plan or higher.
- An Attio workspace, with an Attio admin to authorize the connection.
Setup:
- In Productlane, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Attio.
- Click Connect and authorize Productlane to access your Attio workspace.
- You are returned to Productlane and the first sync starts automatically. It pushes your companies and contacts to Attio; after that, changes are kept up to date on an ongoing basis.
Disconnect any time from Settings, then Integrations, then Attio. Records and notes already created in Attio stay in place; new activity stops syncing.
