Overview
Asyntai puts an AI assistant on your website. It answers your visitors day and night, in 36 languages, from your own product pages, help pages and documents. When a visitor asks something the assistant cannot answer, it asks for an email address and passes the question to your team.
This app brings those chats into Attio. Open a person, and you see every chat that person had on your website, with the full text of every message. Your team reads what the visitor already asked before they reply, so nobody asks the same question twice, and the first answer is the right one.
Two places show the history. A record widget on a person shows how many chats that email address had. A record action opens the chats themselves, newest first, with the page the visitor was on.
How it works
When you open a person record, the app takes the email address on that record. It asks the Asyntai API for the chats where a visitor left that same address, and for the messages of those chats.
The record widget "Asyntai chats" counts the chats of that contact, and opens them when you press it. The record action "View Asyntai chats" opens the same history from the record menu.
The workflow trigger "New Asyntai lead" starts a workflow the moment a visitor leaves their contact details, so Attio creates the person and keeps the conversation with it.
Your Asyntai API key lives in the app settings, and every call runs in a server function inside Attio.
Configure
You need an Asyntai account. Creating one is free. The Asyntai API needs a Starter plan or higher, so the app needs that plan as well.
- Sign in at asyntai.com, open Settings, then API, and copy your API key.
- In Attio, open Settings, then Apps, then Asyntai AI Chatbot.
- Paste the key into the API key box. Settings save on their own, so there is no save button.
- Open any person record. The action "View Asyntai chats" is in the record menu.
To add the widget as well, open the record menu, choose Configure page, press Add widget, and choose Asyntai chats. A person page holds six widgets, so remove one first if the button is grey.
A person shows chats when their email address in Attio matches an address a visitor left in the chat on your website. A person with no match shows zero, and the app says so.
