Overview
Hey Portal
Hey Portal is an Attio client portal app for sharing live CRM data with clients through a link, without giving them an Attio seat.
Turn any Attio list, saved view or object into a client portal. You choose which columns clients see, add tasks, files and reports around the data, and the portal stays up to date with your Attio data.
What you can do
- Share an Attio list, saved view or object as a live client page
- Choose exactly which columns a client can see, and hide the rest
- Add an action plan with tasks and forms your client fills in
- Publish reports and dashboards built on Attio data
- Embed Loom, Calendly, Cal, YouTube, Vimeo, Notion and Google Docs
- Add notes, resources and key contacts alongside the records
- Protect a portal with a password, and revoke the link whenever you want
- Let clients download a CSV of the records they can see
- Put the client's logo and your accent color on the page
- Track opens and see how a client moves through the portal
Why teams use it
- Your client sees today's data, not the spreadsheet you exported last Tuesday
- Nobody needs an Attio seat, a login or an invite to read it
- Internal fields stay internal, because you pick the columns one by one
- One link replaces the weekly status email and the deck attached to it
- Onboarding, deal rooms and client reporting all run from the place your CRM already lives
Works with Attio lists, saved views and any object, including companies, people, deals and your custom objects.
How shared access works
When you publish a portal, anyone with its unique link can view the records and fields you selected, even if they do not have access to your Attio workspace. You can add a password or switch the portal off at any time.
How it works
Once connected, Hey Portal lets you:
- Choose what to share, including an Attio object, list or saved view.
- Control what clients see by choosing the columns shown in each portal.
- Build the page you need from a template or a blank page, with records, tasks, forms, files, contacts and reports.
- Share it with a link that clients can open without an Attio account or seat.
- See what happened, including when a portal was opened and which tasks were completed.
- Show current Attio data without sending another spreadsheet export.
Configure
You will need a Hey Portal account and an Attio workspace you can authorize.
Setting it up:
- Sign in to Hey Portal and select Connect Attio.
- Approve the permissions when Attio asks.
- Create your first portal and pick the list, view or object it should show.
- Choose the columns your client is allowed to see.
- Publish, then send the link.
Settings on each portal
- Password. Require a password before the page will load.
- Branding. Add the client's logo and set an accent color.
- CSV download. Allow or block downloads for that portal.
- Revoke. Switch a portal off and its link stops working straight away.
Who can do what
Portal visitors cannot change Attio data. They can complete Hey Portal tasks and submit forms you put on the page. Creating and editing portals happens in your Hey Portal account, not inside Attio.
For details about the access Hey Portal needs, read the Attio permissions documentation.
