Overview
Capture contacts in person. Follow up in Attio.
Good conversations deserve a next step. Tapify brings the people your team meets into Attio, with contact details and notes that help you follow up personally.
Exchange details through a digital business card, scan a paper business card or capture an event badge. Whether you’re meeting prospects at a conference, networking at a trade show or catching up over coffee, Tapify connects the introduction to your CRM.
- Capture once. Export automatically. Enable automatic export to send newly saved Tapify contacts to Attio as people records. Your team can focus on the conversation while exports run in the background.
- Choose what you send. Prefer to review contacts first? Export them individually or select several from your team’s contact list. Existing Tapify contacts can be exported whenever you’re ready.
- Bring the details that matter. Export names, email addresses, job titles, phone numbers and LinkedIn profiles when available. Link people to companies using captured company names and website domains.
- Give every contact context. Include your saved Tapify notes as a separate note on the Attio person record. Keep details such as where you met, what you discussed and why you wanted to reconnect alongside the contact.
- Work with your existing CRM. Tapify matches people by email to help avoid duplicates. Automatic exports fill empty fields while preserving existing Attio information. Manual exports update the fields you provide.
- Know what’s been exported. See export status in your Tapify dashboard, review anything needing attention and open exported contacts directly in Attio.
Connect from Settings → Integrations → Attio in your Tapify Teams dashboard. Authorize your Attio workspace, then choose manual export or turn on automatic export for new contacts.
Requires Tapify Teams Connect and permission to authorize the integration in Attio. Contacts need a name and valid email address to export.
How it works
Tapify connects securely to your Attio workspace and exports captured contacts as people records, with their details and saved notes.
- Connect your workspace. In your Tapify Teams dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Attio. Click Connect and authorize access to your Attio workspace.
- Choose how contacts are exported. Enable Automatically export new contacts to send newly saved contacts to Attio. To export existing contacts, select them in your contacts list and choose Export to Attio, individually or in bulk.
- Bring the details and context. Tapify exports available names, email addresses, job titles, phone numbers and LinkedIn profiles. Company names and website domains are used to link company records. Saved notes are added separately to the person record.
- Match existing contacts by email. Tapify checks for an existing Attio person with the same email address. Automatic exports fill empty fields while preserving existing information. Manual exports update the fields supplied by Tapify.
- Check progress and follow up. View Export activity in your integration settings to see what’s exported or needs attention. Open an exported contact’s Attio record directly from Tapify to continue the conversation.
Configure
You’ll need a Tapify Teams Connect workspace with owner or admin access, and an Attio account with permission to authorize integrations.
- Open the integration settings. Sign in to your Tapify Teams dashboard, select your workspace and go to Settings → Integrations → Attio.
- Connect Attio. Click Connect Attio, sign in to Attio and choose the workspace you want to connect. Review and approve the requested permissions. Tapify will display Connected once setup is complete.
- Choose your export preference. Turn on Automatically export new contacts to export contacts saved from that point onward. Leave it off to choose which contacts to export manually. Existing contacts remain available for manual export.
- Try your first export. Open Contacts, select a contact with a name and valid email address, then choose Export → Export to Attio and confirm. Return to the integration settings to check Export activity.
You can change the automatic-export setting or click Disconnect at any time. Disconnecting stops future exports and leaves contacts already exported to Attio in place.
