Overview

DigitalPilot is an attribution platform for B2B SMBs running paid campaigns. It identifies which companies visit your site from which ads, so you can see exactly which campaigns drive qualified leads.

How it works

DigitalPilot identifies companies visiting your website and surfaces intent signals in your workspace. The Attio integration connects that visitor intelligence to your CRM so sales and marketing can see which accounts are already in the pipeline—and who to reach out to.

Connect Attio once per DigitalPilot workspace. An admin connects Attio from Integrations → Attio in DigitalPilot. Authorization uses Attio OAuth; tokens are stored securely on the DigitalPilot server and are never exposed in the browser.

CRM data stays in sync automatically. After connection, DigitalPilot refreshes Attio company and people data when you open Dashboard or Visitor Insights. Sync runs in the background (at most once per browser session) so CRM status stays current without manual exports or imports.

Companies are matched by domain. DigitalPilot matches identified website visitors to Attio records using company domain. When a match exists, the account is marked In CRM across DigitalPilot.

See CRM context where you work.

  • Visitor Insights list — In CRM badge on matched companies
  • Account detail page — In CRM status with a direct link to the Attio record
  • People tab — contacts from Attio (name, title, email, phone) with View in CRM links

Prioritize the right accounts. Combine CRM status with DigitalPilot signals such as high intent, target accounts, and ad channel activity to focus on visitors that are both engaged and already in—or ready for—your pipeline.

DigitalPilot reads CRM data from Attio to enrich visitor insights. It does not create or update Attio records from the integration UI today.

Configure

Prerequisites

  • A DigitalPilot workspace with the tracking tag installed on your website
  • An Attio workspace with company records that include website/domain fields DigitalPilot can match against
  • A DigitalPilot user with permission to manage workspace integrations

Step 1: Connect Attio

  1. Log in to DigitalPilot.
  2. Open your workspace.
  3. Go to Integrations.
  4. Select Attio.
  5. Click Connect Attio.
  6. Sign in to Attio and approve access when prompted.
  7. You’ll return to DigitalPilot with a confirmation that Attio is connected.

Connection is per DigitalPilot workspace (tag). Connect Attio separately for each workspace that should use CRM enrichment.

Step 2: Verify the integration

  1. Open Visitor Insights or Dashboard and allow the initial CRM sync to complete.
  2. Open a company that exists in Attio with a matching domain.
  3. Confirm you see In CRM and that the Attio record link opens the correct company.
  4. On the account page, open the People tab to view linked Attio contacts.

Step 3: Reconnect (if needed)

If tokens expire or access is revoked, open Integrations → Attio and click Reconnect Attio to authorize again.

Tips for best results

  • Keep company domains consistent between Attio and the domains DigitalPilot identifies on your site.
  • Ensure people records in Attio are associated with the correct companies so the People tab is populated.
  • No field mapping or sync rules are required in DigitalPilot—the integration uses Attio as the source of truth after OAuth.
