Overview
CallPal is an outbound calling platform for sales teams. It connects to the CRM a team already works in, brings the records they need to call into a calling workspace, and lets reps dial them from the browser without a desk phone or a softphone install.
Connected to Attio, CallPal reads every object in the workspace, including the ones the workspace built for itself, and makes any record carrying a phone number callable. A rep opens a record, clicks the number, and the call goes out. When there is a list to work rather than a single call to place, the power dialer takes a selection and dials it in sequence, moving to the next record as each call ends.
Each finished call is written back to the record it came from as a note, carrying the duration, the outcome, whether a recording exists, and a link back into CallPal. The workspace stays the system of record and nobody keeps two tools in step by hand.
CallPal runs on the customer's own SIP trunk. It does not resell minutes and does not operate a shared carrier pool, so an organization keeps the carrier, the rates and the caller ID it already has, and adding a dialer never means renegotiating telephony.
Call recording is built in and treated as a compliance surface. A recording disclosure is played to the person being called before the call legs are bridged, it is on by default, and a call is dropped rather than recorded silently if the announcement cannot play. Recordings are encrypted at rest, access to them is logged, and each organization sets its own retention window.
CallPal is sold self-serve and per seat, with published pricing and a fourteen-day free trial that carries the full feature set.
How it works
CallPal syncs the following data from Attio: people, companies, deals, and any custom object your workspace has built, each with the attributes you choose to bring across. The object list is read from your workspace rather than assumed, so an object you created appears beside the standard ones. Record owners resolve to workspace member names.
Records stay in step on a schedule. A sync pulls what has changed since the last run, and a full sweep reconciles the set periodically. A record that disappears from your workspace is hidden in CallPal rather than destroyed, and only ever by a full sweep. Attributes CallPal does not recognise are kept rather than discarded, and can be promoted to columns later.
CallPal writes one thing back: a note on the record that was dialled, created when the call finishes. It carries the start time in UTC, the duration, the outcome, whether a recording exists, and a link that opens the call in CallPal. That link points into CallPal rather than at an audio file, so the recording stays behind the same permission checks it has everywhere else. Notes can be written to people, companies, deals and custom objects alike. Nothing else in your workspace is created, edited or deleted.
Delivery of that note is queued rather than fired and forgotten. If the API is briefly unavailable the write is retried, and a write that keeps failing is surfaced to an admin rather than dropped.
Reps call in two ways. Click-to-call places a single call from a record. The power dialer works a selected list in sequence, with auto-advance, a progress counter, and controls to pause the campaign or pause the recording independently of it. Calls run on your own SIP trunk, so your carrier, your rates and your caller ID do not change.
Managers get live monitoring — listening to a call in progress, whispering to the rep without the contact hearing, or joining outright. Analytics covers answer rate, conversion, talk time, outcome mix and best time to reach, broken down by rep and by source.
Configure
Plan requirements. CallPal's Attio integration is available on every CallPal plan. Starter includes one CRM integration, and Pro and Scale include all of them. Every plan starts with a fourteen-day free trial that needs no card, so you can set this up and test it before paying anything.
You also need a SIP trunk from a telephony carrier. CallPal does not resell minutes — you connect your own trunk, and your existing rates and caller ID carry over unchanged.
Connect the workspace. In CallPal, go to Settings, then Integrations, and choose the Attio tile. Select the one-click connection and continue. You will be sent to Attio to review what CallPal is asking for and approve it. Approving returns you to CallPal with the workspace connected and named on the connection.
CallPal asks for four permissions and uses each one. Reading records is how your contacts are imported. Reading object configuration is how the object and attribute lists are built. Reading and writing notes is how a finished call is logged back onto the record. Reading user management is what turns record owners into member names instead of identifiers. Records and object configuration are read-only.
Choose what to import. CallPal shows the object list read from your workspace, custom objects included. Select the objects you want to call, and for each one select the attributes to bring across. CallPal suggests which attribute holds the name and which holds the phone number; confirm or change them. Records without a usable phone number are counted and reported back rather than imported silently.
Connect a SIP trunk. Go to Settings, then SIP Trunks, and add the credentials from your carrier. Test the trunk, then activate it. Calls will not place until a trunk is active.
Set the recording policy. The disclosure played to the person being called is on by default. Set your retention window under Compliance, within the limit your plan allows.
Make the first call. Open Contacts, pick a record, and click the number. When the call ends, open that same record in Attio and the note will be on it. To dial a list, select several contacts and start a power dialer session.
