The Attio desktop app gives you a dedicated, distraction-free environment outside your browser, making it easier to stay focused and access Attio quickly throughout the day.

Download the desktop app

Attio’s desktop app is available on:

  1. Apple Silicon MacOS

  2. Intel MacOS

Follow these steps to download the app:

  • Visit this page: https://attio.com/download

  • Scroll to Attio for Desktop, and click Download for your Mac (Apple Silicon if you have an M1, M2, or M3 chip, or Intel if your Mac has an Intel processor).

  • Open the installer.

  • In the window that opens, drag the Attio app into your Applications folder, then double click the Attio app to open it.

  • Once completed, log into Attio.

Update the desktop app

Keep the Attio app up-to-date for the latest improvements.

The app will automatically download updates in the background, though you will need to restart the app to apply them. You will receive a notification to restart the app when an update is ready.

To manually check for app updates on Mac, click Attio in the menu bar and then Check for updates.

Uninstall the desktop app

To uninstall the Attio desktop app on MacOS, find it in the Applications folder and Move to Trash:

Troubleshoot the desktop app

If you are experiencing loading or performance issues on the desktop app, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify that the app is on latest version. Click Attio in your menu bar, then Check for updates. If an update is already downloaded, you’ll need to restart the app for it to be applied.

  2. Try reloading the app by going to View in your menu bar, then Reload.

3. Restart the application by going to Attio, then Quit Attio from the menu bar, then reopen the app.

4. Clear application data by going to Attio, then Clear application data. This resets the Attio desktop app to a fresh state, like a clean install, without deleting your actual workspace data. Clearing application data can:

  • Remove saved settings, login sessions, or cached files.

  • Fix issues caused by corrupted or outdated app data.

  • Force the app to re-sync cleanly with your Attio workspace.
