Overview

SpecStream brings live web data into Attio. Describe the companies or people you want in plain words, like every private company in Texas that filed to raise money this month, or every agency in Leeds hiring a developer, and get structured records read from the live web, each value with the page it came from.

They land in Attio as companies or people with only the attributes you map, and can join a list. Keep a request running and new and changed records arrive on their own.

How it works

SpecStream reads the live web for the companies and people you describe and sends them to Attio as records.

  • Ask in plain words, as specific as you like: "US startups that filed a Form D for $5M or more this week", "B2B SaaS companies in Berlin hiring their first Head of Sales".
  • Every value arrives with the page it came from, so anyone on your team can open the source.
  • Map each detail to your own attributes, in Attio's names. Details you don't map aren't sent.
  • Add the batch to a list, so new records are easy to find.
  • Turn on Keep sending and new and changed records arrive on their own, with the same mapping.

Before it creates anything, SpecStream looks for the record in Attio: companies by domain, people by an email address the source published. A match is updated or left alone, as you choose. A result that matches more than one record isn't written, so no duplicates appear. SpecStream only writes records: it never sends email or enrolls anyone in a sequence.

Configure

Install

  1. Install SpecStream from the Attio App Store and approve access to records, objects and lists.
  2. Sign in to SpecStream, or create an account (free to start, no card).
  3. Confirm the Attio workspace being connected. Nothing connects until you do.

Send records

  1. Open a collection in SpecStream, select results, open Export and choose Attio under Send to.
  2. Choose companies or people, what happens when Attio already has the record, and an optional list.
  3. Match each detail to an attribute, review how the first record arrives, and send.

A company needs a domain or website; a person needs an email address the source published. Each request shows its price before it runs, and you pay only for results: 10¢, 30¢ or $1 each. Sending to Attio costs nothing extra. Disconnect any time from Connections in SpecStream or from your Attio workspace settings. The full guide is at https://specstream.ai/docs/integrations/attio.
