Overview

Notion is the connected workspace where teams write docs, manage projects and build databases. This app brings Notion into your Attio workflows, so the pages and databases your team relies on stay in sync with your CRM automatically.

Use it to turn activity in Attio into structured content in Notion: spin up a project page when a deal is won, log a new row in a Notion database for every company added to a list, or append meeting notes to an existing page. Everything runs as part of your Attio workflows, with no copy-and-paste and no switching tabs.

MCP

Use the Notion MCP inside workflow custom agents and allow agents to read context from Notion.

Please note: MCP tools within custom agents are read only at this point in time.

Workflows

Create page

Creates a new page nested inside an existing Notion page. Choose the parent page and set a title, then use the new page's ID and URL in later steps.

Create page in database

Adds a new row to a Notion database and fills in its properties. Pick the database and the app loads its property schema for you, so you can map Attio data to the right fields.

Supported property types include text, URL, number, checkbox, date, email, phone number, select, status, multi-select and people.

Add content to page

Appends or prepends rich text to an existing Notion page — ideal for logging notes, summaries or updates onto a page over time. Choose whether content lands at the start or end of the page.

Workflows

Create a Notion connector

  1. Click a New connection in the Notion developer portal.
  2. Select the Access token authentication method.
  3. Mark the connector as installable in your chosen workspace.
  4. Enable all content capabilities for the connector.

Store the token in Attio

  1. Head to the Notion app in your workspace settings.
  2. Under Workspace connection, click Connect.
  3. Paste in the access token copied from your Notion connector.

Add the connector to your chosen Notion pages

  1. Open the settings menu at the top right of your chosen Notion page(s).
  2. Click Connections → Manage connections →Add connections
  3. Search for your connection and add it to the page

MCP

  1. Head to the Notion app in your workspace settings.
  2. Under Member connections, click Connect.
  3. Complete the authentication flow to grant Attio access to the Notion MCP.
