Octave

Octave

Octave is the context engine for go-to-market teams

Overview

Octave is the context engine for go-to-market teams: it turns your positioning — personas, segments, use cases, competitors, proof points — into a living library that your reps, workflows, and AI agents all execute from.

Connecting Attio closes the loop with your CRM. Octave syncs your Attio deals, companies, and people, tracks every stage change as pipeline evidence, and feeds wins and losses back into your library — so your messaging, qualification, and coaching reflect what actually closes. With the Attio call recorder connected, meeting transcripts flow in too, and every insight links back to the deal it came from.

What you get:

• Live pipeline analytics on your Attio deals — win/loss, stage flow, deal health

• Voice-of-customer quotes and findings tied to real deals

• AI agents that qualify, enrich, and draft outreach using your CRM context

• Deal scorecards and action plans written back to Attio as notes and fields

How it works

Octave connects to Attio through a secure OAuth grant — no API keys to manage.

Octave will sync the following data from Attio:

• Deals — read on a rolling schedule to track stage changes, amounts, and outcomes

• Companies and people — read on demand to link deals to the right accounts and contacts

• Meetings and call recordings (optional) — transcripts are imported as conversations for analysis

• Workspace members — read to attribute deals to their owners

After connecting, you choose exactly which fields Octave reads per object. Octave auto-classifies your deal stages onto a normalized pipeline (editable in Octave), and deals appear in your pipeline analytics within minutes.

Octave can also write back — optionally: deal scorecards and action plans as Attio notes, and Octave-managed attributes (prefixed octave_) carrying qualification and fit data. You control what gets installed.

Configure

You will need an Octave workspace on a plan that includes CRM integrations.

Before connecting:

  1. Make sure the Deals object is active in your Attio workspace (Settings → Objects) — it ships active by default.

  2. In Octave, go to Settings → Integrations → Attio → Connect, approve the OAuth grant, and pick the fields to sync.

  3. Review the auto-classified deal-stage mapping in the connect panel and adjust if needed.

Optional: connect the Attio Call Recorder the same way to import meeting transcripts — ingestion works automatically via secure polling, with a webhook provisioned for you when permissions allow.

Permissions requested: read access to records, meetings, call recordings, and workspace members; write access for notes, Octave-managed attributes, and webhooks.
