Firestarter

An AI commercial team that does the work, not the talk

Overview

Firestarter gives a small business an AI commercial team — named colleagues who do the marketing and sales work, not a chatbot that describes it.

Connect Attio and your team can read and act on your CRM directly. Vera, who runs sales, pulls the companies and people you actually have, checks where every deal sits in the pipeline, and writes the follow-up back into Attio — a note on the record, a task for the right workspace member, a deal moved to the next stage.

Nothing is written to your workspace without you approving that exact change first. You see the record, the fields and the values before anything happens.

How it works

Ask in plain language. Your colleague picks the right read, runs it against your Attio workspace and answers from your real records — never from memory.

Reads: people, companies and deals; every object and attribute in your workspace, including the ones you defined yourself; your saved lists and who is on them; workspace members; notes and tasks on any record. Anything the named reads don't cover is available through Attio's SQL endpoint, so an awkward question doesn't become a dead end.

Writes, each behind your approval: create or update a person, company or deal; move a deal to another stage; write a note onto a record; create a task and assign it to a workspace member.

The approval gate is not optional. Every write raises a card showing exactly what will change. You approve or reject it. A rejected write does not happen, and your colleague tells you so rather than working around it.

Firestarter reads your own attribute definitions before writing, so workspace-defined fields are filled correctly instead of guessed at.

Configure

Step 1. In Firestarter, open Settings → Integrations and find the Attio card.

Step 2. Click Connect with Attio. You'll be sent to Attio to approve access, then returned to Firestarter.

Step 3. Click Test connection to confirm each granted permission.

Permissions Firestarter requests: Records (read-write), Notes (read-write), Tasks (read-write), Object Configuration (read), List Configuration (read), List Entries (read), User Management (read).

Every write still passes through Firestarter's approval gate, so the permission is the ceiling, not the behaviour.
