Overview
Docusign Workflows by Fluidlabs connects Attio to Docusign Workflow Builder - the workflow builder in Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM). Your agreement workflows can read Attio records to pre-fill documents, update records when an agreement is signed, and file the signed PDF on the record it belongs to.
Why teams use it
- Send order forms, offer letters and contracts pre-filled with up-to-date Attio data instead of copying names, emails and amounts by hand
- Keep your pipeline current by moving a deal to a new stage or updating a value the moment the agreement is completed
- Keep every signed agreement next to the record it belongs to, in the record's files
Works with your workspace
The app loads the objects and attributes in your workspace when you connect, so it works with people, companies, deals, your custom objects and your custom attributes.
Docusign Workflows integration is built and supported by Fluidlabs.
How it works
Read Attio records
Add a Read from Attio step to a Docusign workflow, choose an object such as people, companies or deals, and select the attributes you need. Find the record by any attribute, for example an email address collected in a web form. The values become workflow variables that you can map into the fields of an agreement template.
Update or create records
Add a Writeback to Attio step to update the matched record or create a new one. Map workflow values to writable attributes, for example set a deal's stage to Won or save the signed amount as the deal value.
File signed documents
Add a File Upload to Attio step after the signing step. Choose the object as the drive and the record as the folder, or use the Record ID from an earlier step. The completed envelope is uploaded to that record's files in Attio.
What the app accesses
The app reads and writes records, reads your object and attribute configuration, and uploads files. It only acts when a step in one of your Docusign workflows runs, and it does not sync data in the background.
Configure
Before you start
You need a Docusign account with access to Docusign IAM and Workflow Builder, and an Attio workspace. The Attio user who connects must have access to the records your workflows will use.
Install and connect
- In Docusign, open the App Center, search for Attio and select Install App
- Select Connect Account, choose whether the connection is private or shared, and name it
- Sign in to Attio, choose your workspace and approve the requested access
Add Attio steps to a workflow
- In Docusign, open Workflows and create or edit a workflow
- Select Add a step and search for Attio
- Choose Read from Attio, Writeback to Attio or File Upload to Attio, select your connection and configure the step
Keep your fields up to date
The app loads your objects and attributes when you connect. After you add or change objects or attributes in Attio, select Reload Objects on the connection in Docusign and select the fields again in your workflow steps.
