How it works
Cotera uses a fully automated research agent, built directly on our platform that transforms raw data into a ready to use pre-meeting briefing. The moment you trigger the workflow, the agent fetches the Company and Person ID objects associated with your upcoming meeting. Using these identifiers, it makes structured requests to Cotera’s intelligence engine to retrieve everything from company-level insights (hiring trends, funding history, leadership changes, product updates, and recent news) to prospect-level details (LinkedIn activity, work history, posts, comments, role context, and more).
Once all data is collected, the agent evaluates the context, identifies key themes, and synthesizes the information into a clean, strategic briefing. It automatically generates sections such as Why Now, Why Change, Why Us, competitive angles, tailored discovery questions, recommended meeting openers, and relevant talking points, so you can prep in minutes, not hours.

Configure
You can find the Cotera app on the Integrations and apps page in your Attio account. You will then install the Cotera app. Please sign up for a Cotera account (you get $5 for free) at app.cotera.co. Use your billing ID from settings/organization and enter it in your app settings in Attio.
