Sync your records in Attio with files stored in the cloud.

Table of Contents

Available on all plans.

Available for all workspace members.

Link files and folders from your cloud storage to records in Attio. Attio supports Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, and OneDrive.

Note: Syncing Google or Microsoft emails and calendar events does not connect Google Drive or OneDrive automatically. To sync files and folders, you must connect your storage account separately.

Connect your cloud storage account

Each workspace member must connect their own cloud storage account to add and view synced files and folders.

To connect your cloud storage account:

  • Click on your workspace name, and from the dropdown choose Account Settings.

  • Click Storage accounts in the sidebar.

  • Choose your cloud storage provider and grant Attio access.

To remove a storage account, click the three dots to the right of the connected account and select Remove. Removing access also removes the files and folders you linked to records.

Add synced files and folders to records

Link files or folders from your cloud storage account to a record in Attio.

  1. Search for and open the record where you want to add the file or folder.

  2. Click the Files tab.

  3. Click the icon and select your storage provider.

  4. Search for and select the file or folder.

You can attach individual files or entire folders from your connected storage account.

Note: Synced files and folders are only visible to workspace members who have connected their own cloud storage account with Attio and who have access to the file or folder in the cloud storage provider.

After adding a folder, click the ⋮ icon beside it to Upload file or Create subfolder. This also creates the file or subfolder in the cloud storage provider.

Manage synced files and folders

  • Click the icon beside a file to Rename, Download, Open, or Delete it.

Renaming or deleting a file in Attio also renames or deletes it in the cloud storage provider.

  • Click the icon beside a folder to Rename or Unlink it.

Unlinking a folder removes it from the record in Attio but does not delete the folder from your cloud storage provider.
