Email outbox
View the status of emails that are queued to be sent.
Available on all plans.

Email sending limits depend on your Attio plan.
From the Outbox page, you can manage queued emails that are scheduled to be sent from email accounts you have synced. Attio automatically spaces out email sends to protect your deliverability.
Email sending limits
For each synced mailbox, a maximum of 12 emails can be sent per hour, and a maximum of 200 per day, based on a rolling 24 hour period. These limits include one-off emails, mass sending, and sequences.
Attio waits five minutes between each email sent from a specific mailbox when sending mass emails or sequence emails, but not for one-off emails. Emails that are queued show on the Outbox page.
Email sequences are not intended to be used for high volume outreach. Only 1,000 emails can be scheduled at a time across the workspace. Additional queued emails remain unscheduled until earlier emails are sent or canceled. Learn more about sequence use cases.
Email sending limits per batch and per month vary by plan:
Free plan: Mass send to up to 10 recipients at once, and send up to 200 emails per month per user
Plus plan: Mass send to up to 50 recipients at once, and send up to 1,000 emails per month per user
Pro and Enterprise plans: Mass send to up to 50 recipients at once, with no monthly sending limit

View the outbox
Navigate to the outbox by clicking Emails in the left-hand sidebar, then Outbox. Click an email in the outbox to preview it. You can see the sender, recipients, scheduled send time, and which sequence it belongs to if applicable.
Note: Your Outbox page will only show emails that are scheduled to be sent from an email account you have personally synced. Emails scheduled to be sent from mailboxes synced by other workspace members are not visible to you.
Emails are prioritized and queued according to the type of email, in the following order: single sends, then mass sends, then sequences.
Cancel outbox emails
You can cancel emails that are queued on your Outbox page to prevent them from being sent. You can only view and cancel emails that are being sent from email accounts you have personally synced to Attio.
Important: If you cancel an email that is part of a sequence, the recipient will also exit the sequence and will not receive any remaining emails in that sequence.
Cancel an individual email
To cancel a single email from the Outbox page:
Open the email you want to cancel.
Click the ⋮ icon.
Click Cancel email.
Cancel all emails
To cancel all emails currently shown on your Outbox page:
Click Cancel all emails in the top right.
Confirm by clicking Cancel emails.
Reduce outbox queue
Each synced mailbox has its own sending limits. You can reduce the number of queued emails by syncing multiple mailboxes to your Attio account (available on Pro and Enterprise plans) and switching between them when sending emails. For example, you can use one mailbox for sequences and another for one-off emails.
Note: Each workspace member can sync two mailboxes (email and calendar accounts) on the Pro plan, and can sync unlimited mailboxes on the Enterprise plan. Learn more about plans and pricing.
