Overview

Attio provides a hosted MCP server that gives AI tools secure access to your Attio workspace. It’s designed to work seamlessly with popular AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and more.

How it works

Once connected, your AI assistant can:

  • Look up contacts and companies, like "Find all contacts at Stripe" or "Who's the decision maker at Notion?"
  • Search your pipeline, like "Find all Series B companies in our CRM" or "Show me contacts who are CTOs or VPs of Engineering."
  • Log notes and activity, like "Log a note on the Linear account: had a great demo call, they want to see pricing."
  • Create and manage tasks, like "Add a task to follow up with Ramp in 3 days."
  • Surface insights from calls and emails, like "Find calls where we discussed enterprise pricing" or "Find emails discussing contract renewal."
  • Manage lists and pipelines, like "Add Acme to the sales pipeline" or "Update Acme's entry to Proposal Sent."
  • Run reports, like "Count open deals by stage" or "Show average deal size by owner."
  • Add comments and collaborate, like "Add a comment to the Acme company record: waiting on legal review."

Configure

Prerequisites

Before connecting Attio MCP, ensure you have:

  1. An active Attio workspace
  2. An MCP-compatible AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc).

Connecting to Attio MCP

Attio MCP uses OAuth authentication, so you simply log in with your Attio account—no API keys required.​

For Claude Desktop or Claude.ai:

  1. Open Settings -> Connectors -> Browse connectors
  2. Search for Attio
  3. Install Attio

For ChatGPT:

  1. Open Apps
  2. Search for Attio
  3. Connect Attio

For other MCP clients: Add https://mcp.attio.com/mcp as a remote MCP server and complete the OAuth authentication when prompted.Once connected, you’ll be authenticated as your Attio user with access to your workspace data.
