UseReviews

Turn customer feedback into insights tied to every person

Overview

UseReviews is a voice-of-customer platform for SaaS teams. It pulls in customer feedback from reviews, surveys, support conversations and in-app widgets, uses AI to turn it into insights (churn signals, bug reports, feature requests, competitor mentions and advocates) and ties every piece of feedback to the person who gave it.

The Attio app puts that evidence where your team already works. Each company and person in Attio shows what customers are saying and how they use your product, so account owners can see churn risk, open requests and advocates without leaving their CRM.

How it works

UseReviews collects what your customers say (reviews, support tickets, calls, surveys) and turns it into churn signals, bug reports and feature requests. Connect Attio and those signals appear on the companies and people your team already works with.

What UseReviews reads from Attio

  • Companies, matched to your UseReviews accounts by domain: the MRR, plan and renewal date attributes you choose, and the record owner.
  • People, matched by email address, and a lifecycle stage attribute if you choose one.
  • Deals on linked companies: value, stage, owner and associated company.
  • Workspace members (read only, user_management:read): Attio stores a company’s or deal’s owner as a workspace member ID. UseReviews reads your workspace members to turn that ID into the owner’s name, shown on the account and its deals in UseReviews. It never changes members.

UseReviews never creates companies or people in Attio and never changes your own attributes.

What UseReviews writes to Attio UseReviews creates its own attributes and writes only to those.

Companies:

  • UseReviews: Insights (usereviews_insights): one line each for open churn signals, bugs and feature requests with their status, competitors and advocates.
  • UseReviews: Account usage (usereviews_usage, with Pulse): the account’s product usage state.
  • UseReviews: Link (usereviews_link): a link to the account in UseReviews.

People:

  • UseReviews: Insights (usereviews_person_insights): the same kind of lines as the company’s, but only what this person raised.
  • UseReviews: Advocate (usereviews_advocate): whether the person is an advocate.
  • UseReviews: Usage (usereviews_product_usage, with Pulse): New, Active, Slipping or Dormant.
  • UseReviews: Activated (usereviews_activated, with Pulse): whether the person activated.

These attributes hold only summaries, never customer quotes.

Timeline notes UseReviews adds a note to the company’s timeline for these five events, and no others. Each can be switched off in UseReviews settings.

  1. New churn signal: includes a quote of what the customer said (up to 300 characters) and the name of who said it.
  2. New bug report: includes a quote of what the customer said (up to 300 characters) and the name of who said it.
  3. New feature request: includes a quote of what the customer said (up to 300 characters) and the name of who said it.
  4. Feature request shipped: a feature request the company made has shipped. No quote.
  5. Bug fixed: a bug the company reported was fixed. No quote.

Each note links to the card in UseReviews. Notes cover only what happens after you connect, never old history.

Keeping in sync Attio notifies UseReviews when a company, person or deal changes, and changes are read and written every 15 minutes. Everything is read again once a night. Disconnecting removes the webhook; attributes and notes already written stay in Attio.

Configure

You need a UseReviews workspace and the Owner or Admin role to connect Attio.

  1. In UseReviews, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect Attio.
  2. Approve access to your Attio workspace.
  3. Optionally, choose which Attio attributes hold MRR (and whether it’s monthly or annual), plan, renewal date and lifecycle stage.
  4. Switch off any write-back attribute or timeline note type you don’t want. Changes apply from the next sync.

To disconnect, go to Settings → Integrations in UseReviews. This deletes the stored tokens and removes the webhook UseReviews registered in Attio. The usereviews_ attributes stay on your records with their last values, and notes already added stay on the timeline; you can delete them in Attio. The app stays installed in Attio, so uninstall it there if you don’t plan to reconnect.
