These agents act like always-on analysts that help you research companies, prepare data, and keep your pipeline up to date. Instead of manually gathering information or building complex workflows, you can simply define what you want to know and let the agent handle the research.
Whether you're enriching records, preparing data for outreach, investigating companies, or organizing insights across your pipeline, Matagi agents continuously gather information and turn it into structured data inside your CRM.
There are no rigid templates or predefined use cases. You describe the challenge, and the agent figures out how to solve it.

How it works
Matagi agents are autonomous research agents with full access to your Attio workspace, the public web, and thousands of external tools. They can join your team as virtual team-members.
Once connected, an agent can read and update records, investigate companies online, gather information from multiple sources, and trigger actions across your stack. Matagi integrates with more than 2700 tools out of the box, allowing agents to move data, generate insights, and coordinate workflows automatically.
Unlike traditional automation tools, Matagi agents don't rely on rigid workflows. They interpret the task you give them, plan the research steps, gather the necessary information, and return structured results directly to your Attio records.
The entire system is designed to work without technical setup. In most cases, you can deploy a fully capable research agent and start assigning tasks in under two minutes.
Configure
Setting up an agent takes only a few steps (you'll be live in 2 minutes).
- Install the Matagi app - Navigate to Settings > Apps in Attio and install Matagi.
- Connect your Matagi account
- Create an agent and give it access under the Access tab.
- Define what your agent should research, monitor, or automate.
- Ask the agent to research companies, enrich records, build lists, create tasks, or automate CRM workflows.
Agents can receive instructions from:
- Attio
- Slack
- Telegram
- Discord
- Matagi web chat
Once deployed, the agent is ready for assignments from you, you can also give it autonomous grooming or research tasks that it runs asynchronously.
