Overview
Caddie AI is a Slack-native AI assistant that connects to your Attio workspace so your team can manage CRM data without leaving Slack.
Ask Caddie to look up a contact, check a deal's status, log meeting notes, create tasks, or get a pipeline summary — all in natural language, all from a Slack DM. Every team member connects their own Attio account, so Caddie respects individual permissions and keeps data access scoped to what each person can see.
Caddie isn't just a CRM shortcut. It's a trainable AI agent that learns each user's priorities, tone, and workflow over time. Set up signal detection for buying triggers, get morning briefings with your top priorities pulled from Attio and connected tools, or ask Caddie to draft follow-ups based on the latest deal activity. Start in approval mode where every action requires your go-ahead, then dial up autonomy as trust builds.
Supports people, companies, deals, custom objects, lists, notes, tasks, and comments. Works with your existing Attio data model — no schema changes required.
How it works
Caddie AI connects to Attio through OAuth 2.0, so each user authorizes access to their own workspace securely.
Once connected, Caddie reads your workspace's object configuration — including custom objects, attributes, and lists — so it understands your specific Attio setup. From there, everything happens through conversation in Slack.
When you ask Caddie something like "what's the status of the Acme deal?" or "log my meeting notes for Sarah Chen," Caddie makes real-time API calls to Attio to fetch or update the relevant records. There are no background syncs, no scheduled imports, and no bulk data transfers. Every interaction is triggered by you.
Caddie uses AI to understand your requests and translate them into the right Attio API calls. Your CRM data is processed in real time to generate responses and is not stored permanently or used to train AI models.
Supported actions include: searching and filtering records, creating and updating people, companies, and deals, reading and writing notes, managing tasks, querying list entries, and posting comments. Caddie requests only the minimum scopes necessary and operates within each user's existing Attio permissions.
