How it works

When a deal progresses in Attio, sales teams can instantly create customers in Sequence using accurate company data. With a single click, they can launch Sequence's quote builder directly from the Attio deal, maintaining context throughout the process.

The integration provides contextual backlinks between systems, so team members can navigate seamlessly between platforms.

For finance teams, the integration ensures customer data remains consistent across systems, reducing errors and speeding up the billing process. Once a quote is signed, Sequence automatically generates accurate invoices based on contract terms defined during the sales process.

Configure

Getting started with the Sequence integration is simple:

  1. In Attio, go to Workspace settings > Apps

  2. Find and install the Sequence app

  3. In your Sequence account, navigate to Settings > API keys

  4. Generate a new API key and copy the base64 encoded token

  5. Return to Attio and paste the token into the connection field in the Sequence app settings

The last step is taking the Sequence user ID and adding it as a member connection in the Attio app. You can do that by:

  1. In Sequence, go to the Attio integration configuration by clicking the Attio icon in the list of active integrations

  2. You should find a banner with the user ID ready to be copied

  3. Head over to the Sequence app settings in Attio and save it as your user connection.

Once connected, you'll be able to access Sequence features directly within your Attio workflow, creating a seamless experience across your revenue operations.
