Schema Map

Schema Map

See your whole Attio schema as one clear, live diagram

Overview

Schema Map turns your Attio workspace into one interactive diagram. Every object, list and attribute is shown as a box, and clear arrows show how records connect between them.

It is built for admins, RevOps teams and consultants who need to understand a workspace fast: before a cleanup, when onboarding a new team member, or when planning changes to the data model.

You can open any object to see its custom and system attributes, check how often each attribute is actually filled in, and leave comments and notes so your team knows why things exist.

How it works

Schema Map reads your workspace structure from Attio: objects, lists, attributes and how they link to each other. It does not change anything in your workspace.

  1. Open Apps > Schema Map in Attio and click Generate ERD.

  2. Click Open ERD to see the diagram in a new tab. Hover any box to highlight its links, or click it to see all its attributes.

  3. Arrows follow the records: A → B means B picks a record from A. Two way relationships show arrows on both ends, and dashed lines show records added to a list.

  4. Click Refresh on the Schema Map page in Attio whenever your schema changes.

For the attribute usage check, Schema Map reads 200 random records per attribute and shows what percent have a value. Only the counts and percentages are saved, never the record data itself.

Configure

Install the app, then open Apps > Schema Map in Attio and click Generate ERD. Click Open ERD to see the diagram in a new tab.

Where your data goes: when you click Generate ERD or Refresh, Schema Map sends your workspace structure (objects, lists, attributes and how they link) and the name and email of the person clicking to WintactiX's server at schemamap.wintactix.com, hosted in the EU. Comments and notes your team writes are saved there too.

The free plan includes the full diagram and 3 refreshes per workspace.

Premium is $99 per month or $999 per year per workspace and covers everyone in it. It adds comments on the diagram, notes on each object, the attribute usage check and unlimited refreshes. Click Get Premium inside the app and pick monthly or yearly.

Setting up the attribute usage check (Premium):

  • Open a box on the diagram and click Analyze attributes.

  • Click Connect Attio and approve read only access to records and list entries.

  • Tick the attributes you want to check and click Run.

For each attribute, Schema Map reads 200 random records, counts how many have a value, and saves only those counts and the percent. Record values are never stored. You can remove this access at any time in your Attio settings.
