What is Attio?

CRMs are at the center of the software stack for millions of businesses. They're ubiquitous and totally essential, yet current products are completely archaic, unloved, and in massive need of an overhaul.

This is software that millions of people use for hours and hours a day – and a $50 billion category – yet you probably can't think of a single awesome piece of software in this space.

Attio is changing that. We’re building a radically new type of CRM that is incredibly flexible and as powerful as the most advanced CRM data models, but also as intuitive, delightful, and collaborative as today’s best software.

Attio is the CRM of the future: a living, breathing platform that connects with a customer’s GTM stack and evolves with them as they grow – from zero to IPO and beyond.

What is it like to work at Attio?

Attio employees are currently based in the US and Europe. We are all trusted to produce high-quality work in the environment that works best for us.

Attio is for people who own their role, learn quickly, are endlessly curious, and find happiness in delivering consistently brilliant outcomes that push the company forward.

We love to work with people who are passionate about working this way and will do whatever it takes to get things done.

Kindness is evident in how we work and there is a high level of respect across the team thanks to working hard. This allows us all to challenge ideas, be independent, and attract world-class talent to join us.

We have an office in London.

Why is this role important?

As a subscription software startup, we only succeed when our customers can quickly learn, adopt, and get value from our product. We spend a lot of time building a simple and intuitive product, but we know there’s no replacement for getting help from a real-life human being when you’re learning a product for the first time.

Our Product Specialists are the first helpful and friendly face that our customers meet. They work directly with founders and operators helping them set up our CRM. As experts in Attio, they are our most critical touchpoint in making customers, early-stage high-growth startups, successful with our product.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Direct customer-facing experience deploying, selling, or managing complex products or services

  • Customer-facing experience solving business problems with technology

  • Comfortable designing and explaining solutions using SaaS concepts like APIs and JSON, and integrating systems using code or iPaaS solutions like Zapier, Tray,io, IFTTT, etc.

  • Some professional or academic experience with 1 programming or query language (Javascript, Python, SQL)

  • Comfortable working independently in an unstructured, fast paced, environment with shifting priorities

Whose team will you join?

You will join a small but mighty team of CRM experts that coach prospects and customers through every step of their journey with Attio. We straddle the divide between technical and non-technical teams, and are as comfortable in a room of engineers as we are with marketers and sellers. We are endlessly curious and perpetual question askers. We’re intent on understanding the ins and outs of our customer’s businesses, the needs of their teams, and the motivations of each individual we work with.

We are builders who may dabble in development, definitely tinker with iPaaS, and help push the bounds of what’s possible with Attio.

Perhaps most importantly, we are teachers and two-way conduits of information between Attio’s product team and our customers. We write, speak, and present about our product, how it works, and what our customers achieve with it. We also share stories and feedback with our product and engineering colleagues to help them understand our customers’ needs.

What are the role requirements?

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Work directly and independently with Attio’s new customers via video call, email, and live chat to ensure their success with Attio

  • Design and develop programs to support customer onboarding at scale e.g., user guides, documentation, onboarding emails, office hours

  • Identify accounts where there is opportunity to expand Attio’s impact and footprint, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to nurture that growth

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., support or engineering) to address and resolve customers product issues

  • Gather client feedback and insights to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Attio product

We believe the right person will have the following attributes:

  • Committed. Quickly become an expert in the product.

  • Thoughtful. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing systems and communication templates to make your and your teammates’ work more efficient.

  • Resourceful. Develop customer-facing programs and content to support customers at scale.

  • Resilient. Support a wide variety of customers and needs with a commercial mindset.
