Automate adding people to Mailchimp email campaigns from Attio.
Attio's Mailchimp app enables you to automate the addition of person records from Attio into Mailchimp email campaigns, streamlining your email marketing efforts. By incorporating the app into your workflow automations, you can ensure that your mailing lists are consistently updated based on activity within your Attio workspace.
Connect Attio and Mailchimp
An admin can follow these steps to connect your Attio and Mailchimp accounts:
Click your workspace name in the upper-left of Attio, then select Workspace settings.
Head to Apps on the left-hand side, search for and select Mailchimp, then Install.
Log in to Mailchimp if you are not already signed in, and connect the account.
Once you have finished the above steps, the Mailchimp block will be available to use in workflows.
Use Mailchimp with workflows
Once you have connected your Mailchimp account with Attio, you can use the Add member to audience action block when creating a workflow. With this block, you will need to specify the following inputs:
Mailchimp connection: If you have more than one Mailchimp account connected, choose the one you want to use.
Audience: Choose the Mailchimp audience (email list) you want to add people to.
Member email: Use a variable to bring in the email address value for the person records you'll be adding to the audience.
Member name: Optionally, use a variable to bring in the name for the person records you'll be adding to the audience.
Note: Whether the member was already on your list or whether they were newly created, we return a “success” outcome from the block.
