We're building more than a CRM.

We firmly believe that business-built software is the future. That means giving end-users the power to simply and quickly configure their tools so that they work perfectly for them. Notion, Airtable, and Zapier are leading the wave and now we're bringing it to the largest business software category: CRM.

With Attio, we're trying to completely change how people think of CRMs with two fundamental shifts from the traditional paradigms.

To easily understand the goal, imagine an ever-green customer data warehouse, with the flexibility of Airtable sitting right on top. That's Attio.

The first shift is that Attio's built on top of a team's existing data streams. We've started with email, calendar, and social data but we're quickly including product and analytics data too. This means teams have access to more, higher quality, data, that data is always up-to-date, and teams can start getting value from it in under 120 seconds.

The second shift is that in every other CRM you're working around (or against!) rigid and opinionated features. In Attio however, workflows are totally user-defined and supported by a library of powerful templates. This means teams can build processes that'd be impossible to fit into the traditional CRM model.

Your questions, answered.

How long will it take to get a response to my application?

Even though we’re a small team and get a significant amount of applications, we think that everyone deserves a response. Because of that, we aim to get back to you within a week after every stage of our process.

Do you have any internships?

Unfortunately we don't currently have the excess bandwidth to run the sort of internship program that we'd like to. Eventually this will change and we regularly reassess the possibility.

What’s the interview process like?

The intricacies of the process vary from role to role but most will follow the same structure.

After your application we'll reach out to organize a 15-minute phone call to understanding a little more about yourself and your motivations for applying.

Then we'll organize either a small take-home task that reflects a challenge the role will face, or a more classical practical interview where you'll work through some problems with a couple of people from the team.

What’s your tech stack?

We use a Typescript-based mono-repo combining NodeJS on the backend, React on the frontend, and React Native for our mobile clients.

Our backend is hosted on Google Cloud and uses cutting-edge hosted products such as Cloud Spanner. On the frontend we maintain an advanced frontend caching solution we call Nexus which supports our collaboration driven, real-time product features.

I don’t see a suitable role, can I still apply?

Do you have a main HQ?

We have a fantastic space in the heart of London's startup district in Clerkenwell. It's always available for those that like to come in and for those who live further afield we regularly provide travel and accommodation so that everyone can meet in-person.

Are you okay with remote working?

We fully embrace remote culture at Attio. Nearly half of our team work remotely. Most of us are based in the UK, but we support timezones up to GMT-/+3.

Almost all of our positions are open to remote working so don't hesitate to apply!

What’s the team’s work-life balance like?

Upending longstanding paradigms isn't something that happens overnight and we know it'll take a huge amount of sustained effort.

With that in mind we place a massive emphasis on being super efficient while we're at work, leaving plenty of time for full and rich lives outside of work.
