# Verify a domain

Confirm ownership of your company's domain in Attio.

> Available on all plans.
>
> Only **admins** can verify domains.

Domain verification confirms that your organization owns an email domain. Attio uses verified domains to control which features apply to your team, including [Single sign-on](https://attio.com/help/reference/workspace-settings-billing/security/single-sign-on), [SCIM provisioning](https://attio.com/help/reference/workspace-settings-billing/security/provision-users-and-teams-with-scim), and [retaining emails for suspended members](https://attio.com/help/reference/workspace-settings-billing/manage-members-and-admins#suspend-a-member).

## Verify a domain

Only workspace admins can verify domains. To get started:

1. Click your workspace name and select **Workspace settings**.
2. Click **Security** in the sidebar.
3. By **Domain verification**, click **+ Add domain**.
4. Enter the domain you want to verify, for example, `acme.com`.
5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the DNS challenge.

Once the DNS challenge is complete, the domain appears as verified in your workspace.

## Manage verified domains

Once a domain is verified, click the **⋮** icon next to it to access the following options:

- **Show DNS details:** View the DNS records used to verify the domain.
- **Restrict email edits:** Prevent workspace members with an email on this domain from changing their login email. When enabled, affected members won't see the option to edit their email on their profile page.
- **Remove:** Remove the domain from your workspace.

## FAQ

### Can I verify more than one domain?

Yes. You can verify multiple domains on a single workspace. Each domain needs to pass the DNS challenge separately.
