# Delete a workspace

Learn how to delete a workspace in Attio.

> Available on all plans.
>
> Only **admins** can delete a workspace.

If you're no longer using Attio, you can delete your workspace to permanently remove your data. There are two ways to start, depending on whether your subscription is active or your trial has expired, and both lead to the same confirmation step.

> **Note:** Deleting a workspace will immediately cancel your Attio subscription, remove access for you and your team, and delete all workspace data. This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

## Delete your workspace

Choose the path that matches your workspace's current state.

### From an active subscription

- Click your workspace name in the upper-left.
- Select **Workspace settings**.
- On the **General** page, click **Delete workspace** in the lower-right.

### From an expired trial

If your trial has expired, click **Delete workspace** at the bottom of the **Subscription expired** page.

### Confirm workspace deletion

In the window that appears:

- Type your workspace slug to confirm that your data will be permanently deleted and that you and your team will lose access to the workspace.
- Select your reason for deleting the workspace. Optionally, add additional feedback.
- Optionally, check **Also delete my user account** to permanently delete the Attio account and all data associated with your email address. You'd need to create a new account to use Attio again.
- Click **Permanently delete workspace**.

> **Note: **The option to delete your user account is not available if you are an admin in another Attio workspace.

Your workspace and all of its data are deleted right away, and your subscription is canceled.
