# Connect Attio and Zapier

Follow these steps to set up Attio's integration with Zapier.

## Connect Attio and Zapier

Automate your work with [Zapier](https://zapier.com/) and connect Attio to lots of other tools like Apollo.io, Airtable, and Notion. Here's how to connect Attio to Zapier:

1. Log in to your [Zapier account](https://zapier.com/sign-up) or create a new account.
2. Navigate to** App Connections** from the left sidebar in Zapier.
3. Now click on **+ Add connection**, search for "Attio", and select it.
4. You'll be prompted to add an API Key, and you can [learn how to generate it in Attio here](https://attio.com/help/reference/integrations-automations/generating-an-api-key). For Zapier, it's recommended to set all scopes for the key in Attio to **Read-write**.
5. Once you've set the correct scopes for the key in Attio and added it in Zapier, click **Yes, Continue to Attio**.
6. By default, this connection to Attio will be private and only able to be used by you. If you'd like to share it with your team, click **Share connection**. Add the members or teams you want to share it with, or select **Share with everyone**, then click **Share**. Once this is completed you can start creating an automation! Use a [pre-made zap](https://zapier.com/apps/attio/integrations) or create your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge and you'll be walked step-by-step through the setup.
